This new life of funemployment is off to a busy start. 

We spent 10 days in Massachusetts to visit Kaitlin's family. We spent the time out on the farm in Western Mass, eating good food and having quality family time. We also did quite a bit of biking and running/hiking. Kaitlin is training hard for the Dolomiti Extreme 103km in June, so she had to maintain her running volume. My knee continues to bother me, so I was hiking instead of running. A few days on the AT and other trails in the area.

We headed back to France and had a lovely week with our friend Stacie from Bend. Lots of biking, hiking, and generally spending time together. 

Sadly, we haven't made many friends yet in France, so it is always great to have a friend from the US visit us. I guess we can import friends without tariffs... Too soon? 

The last big update is that we decided to move. We plan to travel a lot in 2025 and 2026. Our apartment in BSM is quite large and expensive for France. So we decided to see if we could downsize a bit. We found a nice little 42sqM place (450sqFt) with a balcony outside of the town of Aime. We'll move in June. Sorry friends/family, we don't have an extra bedroom anymore. We will have a couch, and there are many rentals nearby.
